GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING MINUTES
JANUARY 15, 2009
The
meeting was called to order at 7 PM in Lake Wales by President Joe Paul.

REPORTS
Ron
Moore reported that the new Maintenance Manager is not abiding by grievances or time limits.
The union will respond accordingly.
Linda
Minix, assigned to cover Winter Haven issues reported that the employees there say that things are better there then they
have been in awhile. The supervisors are in violation of Art 1, Sec 6, Supervisors
doing bargaining unit work. Those incidents are being reported and grieved with
monetary settlements forthcoming. There is an unassigned regular dating back
to last May and that also is being grieved. Linda is following up on the issues
there as they occur.

Moore moved to accept the officer’s reports. The motion was seconded and
adopted.
The
November meeting minutes were distributed and reviewed. Linda Minix moved to
adopt. The motion was seconded and adopted.
The
financial report for Nov-Dec was distributed and reviewed. Mark Gill moved to
adopt the reports. The motion was seconded and adopted.

– 16 hrs LWOP for end of year reports and installation of Quickbooks software.

Roberts moved to pay the bills. The motion was seconded and adopted.

The
meeting dates for the next two months were set for February and March 19, both to be held in Lakeland.

Baker moved to adjourn. The motion was seconded and adopted. Meeting adjourned at 8PM.
