OFFICER’S REPORTS

Filed Unfair Labor Practice with NLRB.  We are losing 2 out of 4 ET positions, one machine leaving in July.  Also checking into custodial relief bids; management says they cannot locate the bids.

Pete on Tour 1 is getting a lot of questions from members.  Everyone should know to periodically check the bulletin boards as well as the website which is being updated frequently.  There are also questions about OT.

Terry Dees from Bartow said that the 204B is doing clerk work while excessing, PTF’s are getting 40 hrs a week, custodians are doing lobby sweeps.  Union will follow up.

Joe Paul had RI-399 meeting.  We disagree with the Mail Handlers on bulk mail breakdown/flats distribution.

10 jobs posted on 4-16, 7 jobs are non impacted.

Residual custodian position has not been filled.

Lakeland may get Zephyrhills machinery.  We continue to have problems with Lakeland PM.  6 jobs in the Plant are under reversion.

Winter haven has EEO problems; restructuring all jobs

We are trying to work out date to have a meeting with the members and the Southern Regional Coordinator for the APWU once management makes up their mind about the excessing situation.

Bob Lohr moved to adopt the Officer’s reports.  The motion was seconded and adopted.
